Over 30 people came out to write and share their New Year's resolutions on a crisp afternoon. During the entire session, our volunteers had no break from helping the participants to find suitable Japanese words for their English resolutions. 冷たい冬晴れの午後に地元の約35人の方々が、書初め体験に見えました。6人のボランティアたちは参加者たちに筆の持ち方からそれぞれの今年の抱負の和訳までと座る時間もないほど忙しく活躍しました。満員の部屋で楽しい会話とともに筆も進み、良い事始めとなりました。 | |
